Golf lab Simulator – Terms of Use
By booking or using the Golf Lab simulator, you acknowledge that golf and simulator activities involve physical activity and inherent risks, including the risk of injury from golf clubs, golf balls, equipment and other participants.
Safety Rules
You agree to:
use the simulator, golf clubs and all equipment responsibly and only as intended
follow all Golf Lab safety instructions and signage
ensure only one person swings or hits at a time
only swing within the designated hitting area
maintain a safe distance from anyone swinging a golf club
keep food and drinks away from simulator equipment
wear clean footwear
not throw clubs or engage in reckless behaviour
ensure anyone under 16 is supervised by an adult at all times
not participate if impaired by alcohol or drugs, or if an injury or other condition makes participation unsafe
immediately stop using the simulator and notify Golf Lab if you notice damaged, faulty or unsafe equipment
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for taking reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others while at Golf Lab and for following all reasonable safety instructions.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring all members of their group are aware of and comply with these Terms of Use.
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and accept the ordinary risks associated with participating in golf and using golf simulator equipment.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Golf Lab Ltd. is not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from misuse of equipment, failure to follow safety instructions, reckless behaviour or conduct outside the intended use of the facility.
Personal Belongings
Golf Lab Ltd. is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Damage to Property
You may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing Golf Lab equipment, simulator technology, fixtures or other property where damage is caused intentionally, recklessly or negligently by you or a member of your booking group.
Bookings and Cancellations
Bookings are for the time shown in your confirmation. Your session begins at the scheduled start time, so we recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early.
Late arrival does not automatically extend your booking time.
Bookings may be changed or cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy shown at the time of booking.
If Golf Lab needs to cancel a booking due to equipment failure, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will offer an alternative booking time or an appropriate refund.
New Zealand Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms of Use limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to you under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, or any other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Acceptance
By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Use and will make all members of your group aware of them before participating.
